The whole team has been absolutely amazing with my dog, Zuko. He has been back and forth over the last two days. The vet was wonderful at explaining what could possibly be going on and was incredibly thorough with the testing and care to help make my boy feel better. They referred us to a specialist and I’m really hoping my boy will be home with me soon. I’m so thankful to the entire team for everything they have done for Zuko and for the care, kindness and support they have shown us during such a stressful time. Thank you all so much.

I honestly can’t recommend my vets highly enough. ❤️🐾 I’ve been back and forth with them for several months now with an ongoing issue with my Shady, and this past week in particular has been incredibly difficult and emotional. Throughout what has been such a stressful and worrying time, they have been absolutely brilliant. Jose has been fantastic, and Greg has been incredibly helpful in supporting me through some issues and working with me to find a resolution, even when we’ve had some difficult conversations. Maggie and Courtney have also been amazing, along with so many others — Shady has seen so many of the team over the past few months that I’m sorry if I’ve missed anyone out! A special mention has to go to Beki, who has been absolutely amazing in helping get Shady through his surgery. She has kept me updated throughout and has been so supportive during what has been such a hard week. Beki is lovely, straightforward and down to earth, and I really appreciate the way she has spoken to me honestly while still being so caring and supportive. My pets are everything to me. They are part of my family, so when they are unwell, it is incredibly difficult and emotional. What really stands out about this practice is that everyone genuinely cares. You never feel like you’re just another client or that your pet is just another patient. They take the time to listen, support you and make you feel welcome, and you can truly see how much they care about the animals they look after. They have also been wonderful with my other cat and my dog, and I honestly feel very lucky to have such a caring and compassionate team looking after my pets. Thank you to Jose, Greg, Maggie, Courtney, Beki and all the other members of the team who have cared for Shady and supported us along the way. I’m sorry I can’t name everyone, but please know how much your kindness, support and care mean to me. ❤️🐾 A truly amazing team who genuinely care — I wouldn’t want my pets anywhere else. ❤️

Had our first appointment today, the staff are all lovely and friendly and Sylvia the Vet was very knowledgeable! The building is modern and clean but also homely.

Really lovely staff and practice looks amazing ! Took my dog there this morning and was really impressed by Daisy the vet and her advice. Very satisfied and relieved they are on the doorstep following sad closure of Vale Veterinary centre Cardiff where my dog used to be treated.

We had to say goodbye to our lovely Dina yesterday at 16 years old, and we are so grateful for the support we received. An appointment was made immediately and she was seen straight away, which meant so much during such a difficult moment. Maggie was incredibly caring and empathetic, treating Dina with dignity and speaking to her with such kindness. She made an unbearable experience feel peaceful and respectful. Thank you for helping our girl pass with comfort and love.

It was one of the hardest days for our family, and having to say goodbye to her was heartbreaking. From the moment Heidi was in your care, you treated her with such dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. Knowing she was in such caring hands brought us great comfort during an incredibly difficult time. The aftercare you provided was truly exceptional, and the care and attention shown when Heidi was returned to us meant more than words can express. Every detail reflected the love and respect you have for the animals you care for, and it gave us real peace of mind. Thank you for everything you did for Heidi and for the kindness you showed our family. We will always be grateful for your compassion and the support you gave us during such a painful goodbye.

Recently we had to put to sleep our 14yr old retriever. The staff, jose, Hollie, and another nurse (sorry not sure of her name)were amazing and so compassionate . We were taken to a lovely room and Mia was comfortable and enjoyed all the fuss and attention including the chocolate buttons and cheese. They made a very distressing time a little easier. Thank you.

Sadly we had to have our gorgeous boy put to sleep today at the age of 14. It was such a difficult and sad time. All the staff were absolutely amazing ❤️ professional, compassionate and caring. The vet even came to our car to carry our baby in (thank you). They made the whole process easier by showing such empathy to us all. We arrived home feeling a little lost without him. We then noticed a parcel had been delivered. We opened it to find a hand written card and a print of his nose and feet, as well as a little bottle of his fur. We were all in tears again ❤️ thank you all soooo very much. The most amazing vets ❤️

Honestly one of the best vets I’ve ever come across. They were absolutely brilliant with Joey after he was hit by a car. The whole team were so reassuring, compassionate, and professional throughout his care, and they made an incredibly stressful situation feel much more manageable. I’m so glad we’re registered with this practice — thank you all so much

First time I have used these vets today for my dog’s vaccination and for flea treatment. I was really impressed by the health check given to my dog and the care and interest shown by all members of staff including the vet and the receptionist. I will definitely continue to use this vet and have joined their health care plan. Highly recommended and I have used several vets over many years.

They have been amazing, supporting me with my dogs, I sadly had to have one put to sleep, he was 15 years old and diabetic, they made the process as good as it could be, cremation and a lovely card and paw prints Can't give them enough praise, and all of my family have used them

Can't recommend Livewell highly enough, the staff there are friendly, patient, understanding and work with the dogs and owners to make their visits a positive experience. Charlie was fantastic with Simba today and he left there a very happy boy.
