We had to say goodbye to our lovely Dina yesterday at 16 years old, and we are so grateful for the support we received. An appointment was made immediately and she was seen straight away, which meant so much during such a difficult moment. Maggie was incredibly caring and empathetic, treating Dina with dignity and speaking to her with such kindness. She made an unbearable experience feel peaceful and respectful. Thank you for helping our girl pass with comfort and love.

I can't thank you all enough for the kindness, compassion, and thoughtfulness you showed to my sister-in-law and brother-in-law when they brought our beloved Heidi to you. It was one of the hardest days for our family, and having to say goodbye to her was heartbreaking. From the moment Heidi was in your care, you treated her with such dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. Knowing she was in such caring hands brought us great comfort during an incredibly difficult time. The aftercare you provided was truly exceptional, and the care and attention shown when Heidi was returned to us meant more than words can express. Every detail reflected the love and respect you have for the animals you care for, and it gave us real peace of mind. Thank you for everything you did for Heidi and for the kindness you showed our family. We will always be grateful for your compassion and the support you gave us during such a painful goodbye.

Recently we had to put to sleep our 14yr old retriever. The staff, jose, Hollie, and another nurse (sorry not sure of her name)were amazing and so compassionate . We were taken to a lovely room and Mia was comfortable and enjoyed all the fuss and attention including the chocolate buttons and cheese. They made a very distressing time a little easier. Thank you.

Sadly we had to have our gorgeous boy put to sleep today at the age of 14. It was such a difficult and sad time. All the staff were absolutely amazing ❤️ professional, compassionate and caring. The vet even came to our car to carry our baby in (thank you). They made the whole process easier by showing such empathy to us all. We arrived home feeling a little lost without him. We then noticed a parcel had been delivered. We opened it to find a hand written card and a print of his nose and feet, as well as a little bottle of his fur. We were all in tears again ❤️ thank you all soooo very much. The most amazing vets ❤️

Honestly one of the best vets I’ve ever come across. They were absolutely brilliant with Joey after he was hit by a car. The whole team were so reassuring, compassionate, and professional throughout his care, and they made an incredibly stressful situation feel much more manageable. I’m so glad we’re registered with this practice — thank you all so much

First time I have used these vets today for my dog’s vaccination and for flea treatment. I was really impressed by the health check given to my dog and the care and interest shown by all members of staff including the vet and the receptionist. I will definitely continue to use this vet and have joined their health care plan. Highly recommended and I have used several vets over many years.

They have been amazing, supporting me with my dogs, I sadly had to have one put to sleep, he was 15 years old and diabetic, they made the process as good as it could be, cremation and a lovely card and paw prints Can't give them enough praise, and all of my family have used them

Can't recommend Livewell highly enough, the staff there are friendly, patient, understanding and work with the dogs and owners to make their visits a positive experience. Charlie was fantastic with Simba today and he left there a very happy boy.

With both of our cats having urinary blockages within weeks of each other and months of ensuing troubles Live Well Vets have been amazing all the way through (both in Caerphilly and Llantrisant). Every staff member we interacted with from receptionists to vets have been very kind, reassuring and helpful. We have had appointments with several different vets and all have been great, in particular Rhian. Everything you could ask for from a vet and now our boys Coffee Beans and Blu finally have a clean bill of health!

Staff has always been very friendly upon visiting with our 4 dogs. One of our dogs who’s very much a complex case as he was born with Cerabella Hypoplasia went in for a dental today and the staff were amazing with him. Made sure there was extra staff on if he needed extra care, he was very happy coming home, everything explained and we were kept up to date the whole process. Very pleased with the service we get and knowing there’s a friendly face that cares about our animals as much as we do is a big win. Thanks everyone

What a fantastic caring service provided today by all of the team attending to dental issues for our ageing Jack Russel. She is now home, wagging her tail and has had her first small meal. This practice should be highest on your list if looking for an honest and caring service.

My 1st experience with Live well vets was a sad one. As had to put down my beautiful dog Ella. The vet and desk assistants who helped us were absolutely fantastic. They gave us all the time in the world to be with her for the final time. Today I picked up her ashes . Which was presented in a lovely bag with a hand written card, her ashes in the box, her fur in a bottle, and her nose and paw prints along with a certificate. Can't thank you all enough for beautiful send off she received.

My first experience at this new vet in Bedwas was a very sad one. I had to say goodbye to my 15yr old soul cat. They were exceptionally kind, patient, caring, and took so much time with me. I was very emotional and everyone from the vet, nurses, and reception staff, were so sweet, and explained the whole process, taking me through a really difficult time, fully explaining the cost, and step by step what was going to happen. They treated my boy with such dignity. The aftercare and thoughtfulness was very touching too, when collecting my boy's ashes and finding the card, paw prints, flower seeds, all so beautifully packaged. I am very grateful to everyone at Bedwas, and will hopefully see you again soon - my 15yr old girl is thankfully very well but badly needs her nails trimmed. RIP Fidget ❤

My miniature dachshund Tucker had terrible skin and ear issues. Daisy is the most loveliest vet who has seen me through Tucker's transition of treating his ear infections. All the staff are wonderful including Esther who has cleaned his ears out twice such a lovely girl. I'm so glad I chose this vets after reading previous reviews as I've just moved into the area. Daisy really does listen And interacts beautifully with my nervous miniature dachshund. Thank you Daisy. You are a credit to this veterinary surgery.

found the staff at live well vet's very comforting and very friendly especially at those most difficult times they made such a good effort to make saying goodbye to my dog a more bearable experience which was so nice i can honestly say I've used quite a lot of vet's over the year's and live well vet's are the best by far ❤️
