Urgent veterinary care when your pet needs help

Emergency Vet Care & Out-of-Hours Support

If your pet becomes suddenly unwell or injured, contact us straight away. Emergencies during our normal opening hours are prioritised by our veterinary teams, while a dedicated out-of-hours provider cares for pets when our practices are closed.

Urgent Care During Opening Hours and Out of Hours

Emergencies that happen during our normal opening hours are always treated as a priority. If you are worried that your pet needs urgent attention, call the practice so the team can advise you and prepare for your arrival.

Outside our normal opening hours, emergency care is provided by a dedicated out-of-hours service. The vets and nurses working there focus on nights and weekends, so they are ready to care for urgent cases when our daytime teams are off duty.

If you need help out of hours, call your usual Live Well Vets practice number as normal. Your call will be redirected to the out-of-hours provider, who will advise you what to do next and where your pet should be seen.
