Meet the Team

Pet care is a very personal business and client relationships are truly important to us. Our the friendly veterinary team can't wait to meet you and your pets.

Gregory Elliott

Practice Owner

MBA

I have more than 25 years’ of experience working with customers and nothing makes me happier than knowing we delivered on our word.

The idea for Live Well Vets was born over a cup of coffee (maybe a glass of bubbly). Having had pets for most of my life, I knew there were some things we could do differently and we hope you notice the difference with Live Well Vets.

Interesting fact: I hold a Guinness World Record for running a marathon whilst tied to over 126 other runners…

Charlie Brereton

Beki Reilly

Veterinary Surgeon

BVetMed PgC(SAS) MRCVS

Originally from Cardiff, I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2009. Initially, I worked in mixed practice before moving into small animal medicine.

In 2019, I earned a postgraduate certificate in surgery, and soft tissue surgery is my main interest. As we welcome our new clients and their lovely pets, I can’t wait to know them.

My cheeky dogs and children keep me busy in my spare time.

Ella Bell

Veterinary Surgeon

BVSc MRCVS

Having qualified as a vet from Liverpool University in 2016, I’ve been working in South Wales ever since. I love the variety that comes with being a vet -no two days are ever the same! My veterinary interests include medicine and dermatology.

When I’m not in work I’m often out for a walk and a coffee with my baby, husband and our very energetic Labrador, Heidi. I’d love to set up a Guinea Pig rescue in the near future!

Kelly Lock

Head Veterinary Nurse

RVN ISFMAdvCertFB CIDBTCert

In December 2006, I began training as a Veterinary Nurse and have now been fully qualified for over 12 years.

Since I have spent most of my career in a busy hospital, I have gained a great deal of experience. My additional qualifications include physiotherapy and canine and feline behavior.

I enjoy camping, walking, catching up with friends, and cooking outside of work. There are 2 dogs and 3 cats in my house, so it’s a full house!

Sophie Thomas

Veterinary Nurse

RVN BSc (Hons) VNECC

I have been in practice for over 10 years, qualifying in 2014 from the University of Bristol with an honours degree in Veterinary Nursing and Bioveterinary Science.

I have worked in a mixture of first opinion and referral practices throughout my career and have also achieved the City and Guilds Emergency and Critical Care Nursing Certificate.

In addition to clinical work, I also teach veterinary nursing. I’m guinea pig mad! I enjoy dog walks on the beach and serving my cat who rules the house!

Clair Crowley

Veterinary Nurse

RVN NCERT(AnBeh) & CERTvnECC

Clair’s experience as a veterinary nurse spans over 15 years, allowing her to bring extensive knowledge of emergency and critical care nursing. She has also been a clinical coach for the last 10 years and an examiner for the OSCE practical exams. Clair holds certificates in animal behaviour as well as emergency and critical care nursing. Her favourite areas are emergency/critical care cases and neonate care, often hand-rearing for cats protection.

Katherine Musa

I have worked in veterinary for over a year as a receptionist, I’ll be furthering my studies with Live Well Vets as a student nurse.

I love being a mum, I enjoy theatre, concerts, and a good comedy show.

Liz Rowlands

Lead Receptionist

I have seven years of experience as a veterinary receptionist.

I enjoy interacting with and supporting clients and the furry members of their families.

I have a rescue ginger tabby called Ted, who has kept me on my toes with his numerous health issues over the years but I wouldn’t change him for the world.

In my spare time, I like to write fictional stories and am currently studying for my degree in psychology and philosophy.

Lauren - Receptionist at Live Well Vets in Llantrisant

Lauren

Receptionist

With nearly 9 years of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist, I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know countless clients and their adorable furbabies. Always ready for a good cwtch with any pets that’ll have me!

Fun fact: I hold a degree in Animal Health and Welfare. While my initial goal was to dive into Veterinary nursing, I discovered that the reception area is where my heart truly belongs. I’m excited to bring my passion and expertise to the Live Well Vets family
