Protection through every stage of life

Pet Vaccinations & Booster Appointments

Protect your dog, cat or rabbit against serious preventable diseases with vaccinations suited to their age and lifestyle. Appointments are available across our three South Wales practices.

Helping South Wales Pets Stay Protected

Vaccinations prepare your pet’s immune system to recognise and respond to infectious diseases, reducing their risk of becoming seriously unwell.

Puppies and kittens usually begin with a primary vaccination course, followed by boosters as they grow. Adult pets may need another primary course if their vaccination history is unknown or they have become significantly overdue.

At the appointment, your vet will check that your pet is well enough to be vaccinated and recommend appropriate protection based on their species, age, health, lifestyle and any boarding or travel plans.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

What if my pet’s vaccinations are overdue?
This depends on your pet’s species, age, vaccination history, lifestyle and individual risks. Your vet will recommend an appropriate programme after reviewing these factors.
Contact us with any vaccination records you have. Depending on how overdue your pet is and which vaccines they previously received, they may need a booster or a new primary course. We will advise you on the safest next step.
Vaccinations are generally given when a pet is fit and well. If your pet is showing signs of illness, contact the practice before the appointment so our team can advise whether vaccination should be delayed.
