What is RCVS PSS Accreditation?
The RCVS Practice Standards Scheme is a voluntary accreditation programme for veterinary practices in the UK. Joining the scheme shows a practice’s commitment to maintaining high standards of care, safety, and professionalism.
To become accredited, veterinary practices are thoroughly assessed on areas such as:
- Quality of clinical care
- Patient safety and infection control
- Team training, skills and ongoing development
- Facilities, equipment, and clinical protocols
- Medication management
- Communication and support for clients
Accredited practices like Live Well Vets undergo regular re-assessments, meaning we maintain these standards every day – not only during inspections.
