Can't recommend Livewell highly enough, they are patient, understanding and work with the dogs and owners to make their visits a positive experience. Charlie was fantastic with Simba today and he left there a very happy boy.

With both of our cats having urinary blockages within weeks of each other and months of ensuing troubles Live Well Vets have been amazing all the way through (both in Caerphilly and Llantrisant). Every staff member we interacted with from receptionists to vets have been very kind, reassuring and helpful. We have had appointments with several different vets and all have been great, in particular Rhian.
Everything you could ask for from a vet and now our boys Coffee Beans and Blu finally have a clean bill of health!

Staff has always been very friendly upon visiting with our 4 dogs. One of our dogs who’s very much a complex case as he was born with Cerabella Hypoplasia went in for a dental today and the staff were amazing with him. Made sure there was extra staff on if he needed extra care, he was very happy coming home, everything explained and we were kept up to date the whole process.
Very pleased with the service we get and knowing there’s a friendly face that cares about our animals as much as we do is a big win.

What a fantastic caring service provided today by all of the team attending to dental issues for our ageing Jack Russel. She is now home, wagging her tail and has had her first small meal. This practice should be highest on your list if looking for an honest and caring service.

My 1st experience with Live well vets was a sad one. As had to put down my beautiful dog Ella. The vet and desk assistants who helped us were absolutely fantastic. They gave us all the time in the world to be with her for the final time. Today I picked up her ashes . Which was presented in a lovely bag with a hand written card, her ashes in the box, her fur in a bottle, and her nose and paw prints along with a certificate. Can't thank you all enough for beautiful send off she received.

My first experience at this new vet in Bedwas was a very sad one. I had to say goodbye to my 15yr old soul cat. They were exceptionally kind, patient, caring, and took so much time with me. I was very emotional and everyone from the vet, nurses, and reception staff, were so sweet, and explained the whole process, taking me through a really difficult time, fully explaining the cost, and step by step what was going to happen. They treated my boy with such dignity. The aftercare and thoughtfulness was very touching too, when collecting my boy's ashes and finding the card, paw prints, flower seeds, all so beautifully packaged. I am very grateful to everyone at Bedwas, and will hopefully see you again soon - my 15yr old girl is thankfully very well but badly needs her nails trimmed. RIP Fidget ❤

My miniature dachshund Tucker had terrible skin and ear issues. Daisy is the most loveliest vet who has seen me through Tucker's transition of treating his ear infections. All the staff are wonderful including Esther who has cleaned his ears out twice such a lovely girl. I'm so glad I chose this vets after reading previous reviews as I've just moved into the area. Daisy really does listen And interacts beautifully with my nervous miniature dachshund. Thank you Daisy. You are a credit to this veterinary surgery.

found the staff at live well vet's very comforting and very friendly especially at those most difficult times they made such a good effort to make saying goodbye to my dog a more bearable experience which was so nice i can honestly say I've used quite a lot of vet's over the year's and live well vet's are the best by far ❤️

Visited for the 1st time yesterday evening with my old Cat that's having issues with his kidneys , all I can say is how professional, compassionate, informative and caring both Vet and reception staff were.

After a very bad experience with my old small vet I find it hard to trust, as like most people they are not just our pets but our family. In a very challenging circumstance the vet talked me through all options worst case scenario to taking my boy home and be able to spend some more time with him.

My boy is home and I am confident if the situation changes Live Well will be there to guide us.

Another thing to point out they are far the best on costs I've seen, money isn't always everything when its comes to our fur babies but some people are not always in a position to pay over the odds, so we'll done guys for keeping it real and helping people afford the care their pets need.

A lovely calm atmosphere for pets! Clean and friendly place. The staff are great, very informative and giving options for medication. Did not feel it was a money making vets. They care about your pet and your wallet 😉

If you are looking for a vet in the Caerphilly area I can highly recommend Live Well Vets, their team are helpful, friendly, and very importantly have shown genuine care in how they have treated my two dogs. My dogs seem calm and unstressed when they visit. I will be using these people again.

Live well vets was recommended to me so I decided to transfer from a large chain to here and so pleased I did. On first visit his itchy ears and coat were addressed and he's completely itch free now! Reception were helpful and friendly and I didn't feel I was a bother as you get in some places! Would also recommend to others.

We brought our pregnant miniature dachshund (Heidi) who was struggling in labour here and even though she wasn’t registered, they still took great care of her. She needed an emergency caesarean and they did a great job you can’t even notice her scar. Thanks to live well vets we have a healthy mum and 4 beautiful little puppies.😍

I had my first visit at Live Well Vets Caerphilly today. they were amazing with my Silken Windhound, who just needed a Booster. super friendly staff, lovely vet too! I've now registered the rest of my brood (6 dogs in total)!

I'm really pleased to have found a good independent vet that is open when I need them to be!

I have registered all our pets with Live Well. Betty our pug has been treated for a tooth abscess, she needed a 2nd course of antibiotics a quick phone call and all done that day for collection. I took our kitten, Ned to be neutered in March. The best experience, they know we worry, I received a text regularily to let me know how the day was going. I couldn't fault the experience and aftercare advice. Same with flea treatment and worming wonderful, Kat the receptionist was great, so knowledgeable, I went with the kitten package and saved money in the long run, who doesn't want to save something? Now, we will be doing all over again very soon with Ron who I have just registered. In my opinion the best Vets in Caerphilly. They all care and not just for our precious pets they care how we feel too. One happy Ned and happy owners. Thank you Live Well.

I am leaving a review as I feel sometimes it is nice to say something positive about a business and not enough people do it. I have been attending Live Well Vets for quite a while now with my 5 dogs and have been very impressed. I have attended both practices. Staff have always been very friendly and caring. But I have to really give praise to Emile. I met him for the first time in April, where he diagnosed my little dog with bladder stones, he could actually feel them. He took his time to explain everything, wasn’t rushed and made me aware of what the next steps would be, which was surgery. When she went in, the vet that was doing the op (sorry I can’t remember her name, small with blonde hair), said how good Emile was to feel the stones, she said they were not easy to feel. She was also lovely and felt very confident in her ability to look after my little girl. The op went well and some very sizeable stones were removed, and she has recovered well.
Fast forward to today and I took 3 of my dogs in for their vaccinations and once again it was Emile. He was very thorough checking them over, discussing one of their recent blood tests and some concerns I had. Once again I didn’t feel rushed and felt very at ease with him. He is very caring and explains everything in depth. He is definitely an asset to you at Live Well, along with your other staff too. Well done Live Well 👍🏼

We took our dog Blu to Valley Vets in Caerphilly for years until they closed and we were forced to go elsewhere. We tried Live Well Vers as they were close to us and new. All I can say is what a great move that was! They are very professional, thorough and thoughtful. Very happy with the service from them and highly recommend.
